How to update our GoSecure Password

With the new GoSecure system, you have to update your user generated password every 120 days (4 months). The following tutorial will show you how to do this, and also how to update your CabMD settings.

Step 1: When you are notified that your password needs to be updated (either by email or by CabMD), you need to update this on the GoSecure website.


Step 2: You need to go to the GoSecure website, https://www.edt.health.gov.on.ca and log in using your current UserID and password


Step 3:
When prompted, update your current password to something new. Confirm your new password.

Step 4: Once you have created a new password, you need to update your Care Provider settings in CabMD.  To do this, you can click on the grey gear wheel on the far right of your CabMD Homepage (under Options).



Scroll down to the bottom of the page where you will find "Care Provider EDT Connection". Here, you enter your EDT UserID (email you have associated with your GoSecure account) and the password you have created for the account.  By default (for security reasons), CabMD will show the password as a series of stars. To reveal the password, click on the clipboard icon to the right of the password field.



Step 5: When you have inputted your UserID and password into CabMD, make sure there is a check mark in the "Connected to MOH" box. If there is no check mark, click the box to the right. Then, scroll back up to the top of the page and make sure you click the "Finish" button (checkered flag icon).



This is how you save the changes in CabMD.  If you do not click this icon, your changes will not be saved.
