If I type in an OHIP number and the rest of the fields automatically populate but with a different version number than the one the patient presented to me on their hospital registration card, which should I consider up-to-date and if the version number for the patient in CabMD needs to be changed, how is that done?
So, there one of two things is happening:
1) If the version code you have isn’t listed in the version code history for that patient (there’s a little box beside the version code field that displays known version codes and the date of validity – then you likely have the latest version code. Simply override the version code value with what you have.
2) If what you have is listed but isn’t the current version code, then you have an old version code and the system has already been corrected with the latest.
